Ngezi forests is located about three kilometers from Konde village. The forest is true double canopy, with an upper layer of majestic mgulele (antiarus), mwavi rythrophloem), mtondoo (Alexandrian laurel) and mvule (milicia) trees towering up to 30 and 40 metres. From the junctions on their huge trunks grow tropical lianas and parasitical plants, whilst high up in the canopy, troupes of the Pemba velvet monkey bark and play.
Visit of the forest is a half day trip that may be combined with Vuma Wimbi beach for relaxation and swimming. Located at about 7 kilometers from Ngezi forest. Vuma Wimbi is a perfect place for swimming and beach relaxation, specifically for its status of being a virgin and less crowded.
