We try to
ensure that the information contained on our web site is accurate and up to
date. However, we recommend that you verify the information before acting on
it. You can do this by calling the relevant number and write us through email
addresses shown at the contact button of this website. There is no
charge for the information presented on this web site; however, in return for
allowing you to access this material, we require your acceptance that Safina
Tours and Safaris Ltd will not be liable for any actions you may take as a
result of using this information.
SAFINA’S PRICE GUARANTEE
Prices are subject to adjustment in the event of changes to general sales tax
/ value added tax. Fuel or airfare increases, currency fluctuations, etc.
Before
you make a booking we will give you the up to date price of your chosen
holiday, including the cost of any peak season supplements, upgrades or
additional facilities which you have requested. Once you have accepted this
price and a booking has been made, that price is fully guaranteed and will not
be subject to any surcharges.
DEPOSIT POLICY AND CANCELLATION SCHEDULE
Individuals (FIT) - Payment:
A deposit equal to thirty-five percent (50 %) of the contracted value booking
price, due on booking the tour and hotel. The balance of the contracted value
(booking
price) shall be paid not less than forty (40) days prior to the anticipated
date of tour departure or arrival in hotel (or upon reservation if less than forty (40) days).
Bookings made within forty (40) days prior to the anticipated date of tour
departure or arrival in hotel must be accompanied by full payment.
Groups-Payment:
A deposit equal to thirty-five percent (50 %) of the contracted value tour and accomodation
price, due on booking the tour/accomodation or not less than seventy (70) days prior to the
anticipated date of tour departure (or upon placing the reservation if less
than seventy (70) days). The balance of the contracted value, tour price shall
be paid not less than forty (40) days prior to the anticipated date of tour
departure (or upon reservation if less than forty (40) days). Bookings made
within forty (40) days prior to the anticipated date of tour departure must be
accompanied by full payment.
Payment shall be made directly to our bank account by money transfer . All payments shall be free of any bank charges. If payments by credit
card the following information shall be provided;

Individuals (FIT) - Cancellations:
40 - 26 days prior to the anticipated tour departure thirty-five (35) % of the
contracted value, tour price.
25 or less days prior to the anticipated tour departure hundred (100) % of the
contracted value, tour price.
Groups - Cancellations:
70 - 41 days prior to the anticipated tour departure = thirty-five (35) % of
the contracted value, tour price.
40 days or less days prior to the anticipated tour departure = hundred (100) %
of the contracted value, tour price.
Cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective on the date of
receipt in our offices. Should the client fail to join the tour or leave it
prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
INSURANCE
Luggage and personal effects are conveyed entirely at owner’s risk. Passengers
should ensure that they have comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation,
medical expenses, personal luggage, money etc. Vehicles on escorted tours
carry passenger liability insurance in accordance with existing laws in
Zanzibar.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
The onus is on the client to ensure that passports and visas are valid for the
countries visited. Both the Company and its agents cannot be held liable for
any visa etc. not held by clients.
LAW
The law of the Zanzibar shall govern the relationship between
SAFINA TOURS & SAFARIS LTD and the passengers or Tour Organizers. The
Zanzibar Courts of Law shall have sole jurisdiction in any respect
of claims and or disputes that may arise between SAFINA TOURS & SAFARIS LTD
and the passenger or Tour Organizer.
